Tulip Pax

A Reliable Triumph for Commercial Forcing

The 'Pax' tulip, belonging to the Triumph class, is a staple for growers focused on consistent quality and minimal crop loss. Known for its robust performance in greenhouse conditions, this cultivar is a preferred choice for producers who need a predictable crop cycle and a high percentage of marketable flowers.

Agronomic Advantages and Disease Resistance

The standout feature of 'Pax' is its natural resistance to common greenhouse pathogens. In high-density planting environments, managing root rots, downy mildew, and powdery mildew can be a significant cost factor. 'Pax' exhibits excellent tolerance to these issues, allowing for a more efficient pest management program. Key technical aspects include:

• Forcing Schedule: The mid-season blooming period allows growers to effectively schedule production to meet post-peak market demand.
• Structural Integrity: Its medium height and sturdy stem ensure ease of harvest, packing, and long-distance transport.
• Visual Appeal: The crisp, white color of the petals, combined with the classic Triumph shape, ensures the flowers retain a fresh look for an extended period in floral arrangements.

Operational Scenarios

For large-scale agricultural operations, 'Pax' is an exercise in resource optimization. By selecting a variety that is naturally resistant to fungal outbreaks, growers can reduce the frequency of chemical interventions, which is increasingly important for sustainable and cost-effective farming. This tulip is highly versatile; it is perfectly suited for mono-varietal bouquets or as a foundational white element in complex floral designs. Whether for retail sale or landscape projects, 'Pax' delivers a balance of durability and aesthetic clarity.
