Hot Chocolate is a pelargonium known for its dark brown leaves and bright velvet flowers that resemble real chocolate. The plant reaches a height of 30–40 cm, and the inflorescence diameter is about 5 cm. Flowers appear in June and continue to bloom until autumn, creating a rich visual effect due to the combination of pink and purple shades.
Pelargonium 'Hot Chocolate' is distinguished by its hardiness to various growing conditions: it prefers semi-shaded locations but grows successfully in sunny areas as well. Best results are achieved in fertile, moist soil; the plant does not require strict conditions and adapts well to acidic substrates. Thanks to its hardiness and high frost resistance (up to –26 °C), it is suitable for planting in various climatic zones.
This perennial plant blends easily with other species in flower beds, compositions, and garden groups. Its dense crown and long flowering period make it an excellent choice for both single plantings and creating decorative hedges or freely growing bushes in parks and gardens.
