Tulip Lady Margot

Stability and Predictability in Floral Production

Managing late-blooming Triumph tulips requires operational discipline: here, precise adherence to agrotechnical timelines is more critical than the volume of interventions. The 'Ladys Margot' variety serves as a reliable workhorse. Its tall stem and dense bloom make it a favorite for cut flowers, maintaining its commercial quality even through extended transit periods.

Operational Advantages

• Robust Immunity: In the high-humidity environment of protected cultivation, the variety demonstrates impressive resistance to downy mildew (peronospora), phomopsis, and phoma leaf spot. This significantly lowers fungicide consumption, directly reducing production costs per unit.
• Height and Structure: The long stem allows for efficient space utilization during vertical forcing. Furthermore, the plant is not prone to lodging, which saves time on additional support installations.
• Blooming Phase: The late flowering window allows operators to extend the trading season well after the main wave of early varieties has been exhausted.

Cultivating 'Ladys Margot' requires no specialized skills beyond the standard protocols for the Triumph group. The variety is forgiving of minor temperature fluctuations, consistently retaining its vibrant yellow petal color. Its high natural resistance makes it a predictable asset for those planning to scale their business while minimizing risk. It is a highly efficient choice for growers prioritizing long-term yield stability.
