Tulip Arma

Cultivating the 'Arma' Tulip: A Grower's Perspective

For professional flower growers, the 'Arma' tulip has become a benchmark for predictability and operational reliability. This fringed tulip, known for its mid-season bloom, is remarkably low-maintenance, allowing for streamlined spring crop management. Its most significant asset is its 'immunity profile.' In the damp conditions of early spring, when the risk of fungal infections peaks, 'Arma' shows high resilience against Alternaria, root rots, and Fusarium. This robustness drastically reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications and keeps crop loss at an absolute minimum.

Tech Specs and Handling

The low growth habit of this variety is a functional advantage, especially for pot forcing or creating dense, professional-grade spring bouquets. The stems are sturdy and maintain their form, which prevents breakage during transit and handling. Growers often note that 'Arma' responds exceptionally well to irrigation control: with proper drainage and a stable temperature regime, the bulb failure rate is impressively low.

• Biological Resilience: Exceptional survival potential due to inherent resistance to common soil-borne pathogens.
• Operational Efficiency: The compact plant structure allows for higher density per square meter in the greenhouse while maintaining sufficient airflow.
• Visual Consistency: The rich red petals, combined with the distinct fringed edge, remain vibrant and fresh throughout the flowering cycle.

If you are looking for a variety that offers high yield with minimal unpredictability, 'Arma' is an efficient choice that delivers consistent results exactly when you need them.
