Tulip Flashback

Reliability in production: the Flashback lily-flowered tulip

For growers focused on consistent yields and high-quality cut flowers, the 'Flashback' tulip represents a top-tier choice. This lily-flowered variety stands out not just for its striking yellow petals and distinctive silhouette, but primarily for its robust field health. In a commercial environment where fungal outbreaks can compromise an entire crop, 'Flashback' proves its worth through natural resistance to downy mildew, fusarium wilt, and powdery mildew. Furthermore, its documented resistance to the cucumber mosaic virus provides a significant buffer against common pathogens found in intensive cultivation cycles.

Practical application in agricultural operations

• Forcing schedules: With a mid-season bloom window and manageable plant height, it integrates seamlessly into high-throughput forcing operations. The structural integrity of the stem simplifies harvesting logistics, reducing breakage during packing and transport.
• Commercial landscaping: Beyond the glasshouse, this variety performs exceptionally well in public garden displays. Its resilience makes it a low-maintenance option for professional landscaping projects where frequent fungicide applications are undesirable.
• Cost management: By reducing the need for chemical interventions, 'Flashback' allows producers to optimize their input costs. It is an ideal variety for operations seeking to maintain profitability without sacrificing visual quality.

This hybrid is built for predictability. Whether you are dealing with a fluctuating spring climate or tight greenhouse scheduling, 'Flashback' delivers a consistent product that survives where less resilient varieties struggle.
