Tulip Fidelio

Efficiency in the Greenhouse: The Fidelio Advantage

In the high-stakes world of commercial tulip forcing, the 'Fidelio' Triumph variety is prized for its predictability. For greenhouse operators, this variety functions as a low-maintenance asset. Its primary strength lies in the perfect combination of tall stem structure and robust phytosanitary profile. By integrating 'Fidelio' into your crop cycle, you significantly reduce the need for intensive fungicide applications, directly lowering operational costs per unit.

Phytosanitary Resilience

The variety is known for its high natural immunity, which simplifies the workload for the lead agronomist. It demonstrates significant resistance to a broad spectrum of pathogens that typically affect yield:

• Verticillium and Sclerotinia (reducing losses in soil-borne disease scenarios);
• Downy mildew, Phomopsis, and Phoma (ensuring the leaves and stems maintain top-tier market quality even during high-humidity cycles).

Operational Benefits

From an operator's perspective, this tulip is a logistical win. Its mid-season flowering cycle allows for precise harvest scheduling, avoiding supply chain bottlenecks. The height of the plant ensures easy handling during cutting and bouquet assembly—waste is kept to a minimum as there are virtually no stunted or deformed stalks. The vibrant orange color provides excellent market appeal, ensuring consistent demand during peak seasons. With its undemanding maintenance requirements, 'Fidelio' is well-suited for operations where optimizing labor efficiency is a top priority.
