Tulip Apricot Parrot

Exotic Aesthetics for Your Garden

The 'Apricot Parrot' tulip stands out as a true visual statement. Its key feature lies in the complex geometry of its petals: deeply serrated edges and a uniquely curved structure create a volume that fundamentally changes the perception of a traditional spring garden. Unlike standard goblet-shaped varieties, this parrot tulip acts as a living sculpture.

Core Characteristics

• Color Palette: A sophisticated apricot shade with subtle greenish and pink veins, intensifying toward the base of the bud.
• Blooming Cycle: Classified as a mid-season variety. The bloom opening process is gradual, allowing for an extended period of decorative display.
• Physicality: The medium height provides stable stems, ensuring the plant holds its ground better than taller lily-flowered counterparts.

Pros and Cons

The primary strength of this variety is its high aesthetic value. It is perfectly suited for the foreground of flower beds where detailed form matters most. It performs exceptionally well in floral arrangements, impressing observers with its unconventional appearance. However, potential growers should note that 'Apricot Parrot', like most parrot tulips, is delicate: its ornate petals do not favor heavy winds or intense rain, which can bruise the exotic structure of the blossom.

This variety is optimal for those seeking a focal point for floral designs or wishing to curate a garden space with a sense of collectible exclusivity. It is a choice for the true aesthetic enthusiast willing to select a sheltered, wind-protected spot to showcase this botanical masterpiece.
