Vasilina

Chrysanthemum Vasilina is a compact cultivar with a semi-spreading, fast-growing bush reaching about 80 cm in height. The plant is characterized by strong foliage and sturdy flower stems. Leaves are dark green and smooth, while the flower heads are single, anemone-like, with a diameter of 6-7 cm. The ray florets are long with pointed tips and are white in color, while the tubular florets are yellow. Flowering begins in the third decade of November and lasts for about 20 days, without fading in the sun. Vasilina has a moderate scent, making it attractive for greening and decorative purposes.

The Vasilina cultivar is distinguished by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, diseases, and pests. It is winter-hardy, drought-tolerant, and heat-resistant, which allows for successful cultivation in humid subtropical regions and in light zone 6 of Russia. After 2-3 pinchings, the bush becomes multi-stemmed and can bear up to 200-300 flower heads, significantly enhancing the plant's decorativeness and flowering period.

Chrysanthemum Vasilina is suitable for greening open areas and creating floral compositions. Thanks to its hardiness and decorative qualities, it easily adapts and requires minimal care. The plant prefers sunny locations and can be used both in the garden and in pots. Regular watering and removal of withered flowers will help extend the flowering period and maintain the attractive appearance of the bush.
