Zenit

Tomato Zenit is an early hybrid that begins fruiting 90 days after germination. The plant is strong, with low leafiness, reaching a height of 70-80 cm in open ground and up to 120 cm in a greenhouse. Each plant forms 5 to 7 trusses. The fruits are round-cylindrical, weighing 200 to 300 grams, intensely dark red with a burgundy hue without rings. They are dense, uniformly colored, do not crack, and lack spots at the stem. The flesh is juicy, tender, sweet, with a distinct aroma and sugar content, making Zenit tomatoes especially suitable for children's and dietary nutrition. This variety is characterized by high heat tolerance, salt-tolerant soil resistance, and immunity to tobacco mosaic virus. With proper care, yield can reach up to 6 kg per plant. Fruits ripen unevenly, allowing for an extended harvest period. Due to their qualities, tomatoes store well during winter, making them convenient for long-term storage. Tomato Zenit is recommended for cultivation following standard agronomic practices to achieve maximum productivity. To protect plants from pests such as Colorado beetle, aphids, and thrips, systemic-contact insecticides based on imidacloprid can be used, which effectively blocks the insect nervous system and provides a prolonged protective effect. This helps maintain plant health and improves crop quality.
