Tomato BAMBININO

A compact hybrid with heavy-duty immunity

The Bambino tomato is the choice for growers seeking the perfect balance between early maturity and robust pathogen resistance. This indeterminate hybrid, developed with the expertise of Zeraim Seed Growers, is engineered to provide a consistent yield of cherry tomatoes in environments where other varieties frequently succumb to viral outbreaks.

Core Advantages

• The Defense Barrier: The primary value of Bambino lies in its proven genetic resistance to Tomato Mosaic Virus and other viral plant diseases. This makes it a preferred option for greenhouse production, where the risk of pathogen spread is exceptionally high.
• Speed and Quality: With a maturation period of up to 90 days, it allows for efficient production cycles. The fruits, weighing 20–40 grams, feature a classic round shape and a vibrant red color.
• Logistical Potential: Despite their small size, the fruits are highly resilient during transit. They are not prone to cracking, which is a critical factor for farmers supplying retail chains.

While Bambino may lack the sheer mass of larger tomato varieties, it excels in marketability and speed. This hybrid is optimized for professional greenhouse vegetable farming, where productivity is measured not just by yield per plant, but by minimizing post-harvest losses. It is an ideal solution for those who prefer reliable genetic immunity over constant chemical treatments against viral infections.
