Bellfort F1 tomato — an ultra-early indeterminate hybrid from the Dutch breeding company Enza Zaden, intended for cultivation in open fields, plastic, and heated greenhouses. The plant is tall with short internodes and strong vegetative growth, ensuring even fruiting development throughout the entire vegetation period. The hybrid is characterized by high yield and can form up to 8 trusses per plant, each containing 3–5 fruits. Due to resistance to nematodes, tomato mosaic virus, and other diseases, as well as its ability to set fruit under stressful conditions, Bellfort F1 is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and extended cropping systems. The fruits of Bellfort F1 have a round shape without ribs and a distinctive "nose", weighing 200–300 grams. Their color is a rich dark red with a beautiful gloss. The tomatoes are distinguished by high density, juicy internal structure with abundant seeds, ensuring excellent taste qualities comparable to pink-fruited varieties. Thanks to good resistance to cracking and high transportability, the fruits maintain their market appearance and freshness during storage for up to 4 weeks, making them ideal for fresh market sales and long-distance transportation. The Bellfort F1 hybrid is versatile in use: its fruits are suitable for fresh consumption as well as for processing into juices, pastes, and sauces. The plant is recommended for two-crop and extended cropping systems, including organic farming. High resistance to major tomato diseases such as ToMV, Pf, Va, Vd, and Fol, as well as moderate resistance to TSWV, Ma, Mi, and Mj, ensures stable yield and minimal losses. Thus, Bellfort F1 tomato represents a reliable, high-yielding variety with excellent agronomic and commercial characteristics.
