Tomato Valentinka

The Valentine tomato is a medium-early, tall indeterminate bush that can reach a height of more than 2 meters. The plant is suitable for cultivation both in open ground with mandatory support on stakes and under plastic covers. For bush formation, it is recommended to leave one main stem, removing all suckers, and to pinch back after the formation of 8-10 flower clusters, leaving two leaves above the last cluster. Sowing for seedlings is done in March, transplanting occurs in the stage of the first true leaf, and planting in greenhouses is done in May.

The fruits of the Valentine tomato have an original heart-shaped form with a slightly elongated but rounded tip, giving them an attractive and decorative appearance. They are flattened-round, pink-red in color, with a glossy surface. Fruit weight varies from 15 to 24 grams for miniature cherry varieties and can reach 130-200 grams in larger variants. Each cluster forms 6 to 34 fruits, ensuring high yield.

The taste of the fruits is characterized by dessert-like sweetness with a slight acidity, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption. Additionally, Valentine tomatoes are excellent for canning, especially in bright, multi-colored assortments.
