Tomato BUGI VUGI

Stable yields of large-fruited pink tomatoes

For farms focused on the fresh market, choosing the "Boogie Woogie" variety by breeder Alexey Alexeevich Mashtakov is a strategic move. This indeterminate tomato combines high marketability with excellent flavor, which is critical for selling produce in the premium segment.

Agronomics and Protection

The main task when working with "Boogie Woogie" is providing the right conditions for the plant to reach its full indeterminate potential. With a ripening period of 90–100 days, it allows for efficient crop rotation planning. High disease resistance significantly reduces fungicide costs:

• Comprehensive immunity: The variety effectively resists Tobacco Mosaic Virus, Macrosporiosis, brown spot, and Mycosphaerella leaf spot.
• Septoria resistance: Genetically inherent resistance to Septoria helps keep the foliage healthy throughout the entire growing season.

Yield Economics

The flat-round and heart-shaped fruit with a vibrant pink color is highly attractive to consumers. With an average fruit weight exceeding 200 grams, it is an ideal choice for the fresh salad market. Under proper agronomic management, yields can reach 160–190 tons per hectare, which is an impressive figure for pink tomatoes. Excellent transportability ensures that the produce maintains its market quality even during long-distance shipping, minimizing losses during retail delivery.
