MONISTO EMERALD

The Monisto Emerald tomato variety is a medium-early, high-yielding variety with bright green fruits that are distinguished by their exceptional taste and aroma. The fruits weigh between 20 to 35 grams, are arranged in clusters of 6-8 fruits, and the plants reach a height of about 1.4 meters. The tomato flesh is dense, fleshy, and very sweet, making them ideal for fresh consumption and preparing various dishes. The fruits do not drop off the plant and can remain on the branches for up to a week without losing quality, ensuring convenient harvesting and transportation.

The plant is indeterminate with unlimited growth, allowing the formation of a single stem with removal of suckers for optimal development. The variety is resistant to diseases and adapted to various climatic conditions, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses and polyethylene covers. In southern regions, it can be grown with support on stakes. Fruit set is abundant and uniform, giving the plant a decorative appearance due to numerous clusters of bright fruits.

The maturation period is approximately 110-120 days after emergence of seedlings. It is recommended to sow seedlings in March, with transplanting in the early vegetative stage and planting in greenhouses in May. The variety is excellent for making fresh salads, appetizers, and canned assortments, thanks to its flavor and attractive appearance.
