Tomato SENSEI

The tomato variety SENSEI belongs to the medium-early, large-fruited types, intended for cultivation in plastic greenhouses and open ground. From the first sprouts to the beginning of fruiting, it takes about 100-105 days. The plant is determinate, medium-height, reaching up to 1.5 meters. The bush is formed into 1-2 stems with mandatory pinching and staking to ensure optimal growth and fruiting. On 1 square meter, it is recommended to plant 3-4 plants.

The fruits of the SENSEI tomato have an elongated-heart shape, smooth and even, with a beautiful maroon color. The weight of one tomato varies from 160-200 grams to individual specimens weighing up to 450 grams. The flesh is tender, low-seeded, with a very sweet taste and a slight acidity, and is sugary and crumbly when broken. Due to the high quality of the fruits, this variety is excellent for fresh consumption and for making juice.

The variety is characterized by high yield — up to 8 kg can be harvested from one plant, and from 7 to 10 kg per square meter. It is resistant to such diseases as tobacco mosaic virus, cladosporiosis, and fusarium, making it a reliable choice for gardeners. The optimal temperature for seed germination is 23-25°C, and seedlings should be sown 50-60 days before transplanting into the soil.
