Tomato Tysminskyi

A Reliable Choice for the Early Market

The «Tyasminskyi» tomato is a product of the Cherkasy IAPV UAAS selection, designed specifically for the climatic realities of Ukraine. This variety is the preferred choice for growers who prioritize crop predictability and marketability in the early segment over giant fruit sizes.

Key Advantages

• Early Maturity: The ultra-early vegetation period of up to 90 days allows the crop to avoid the peak of late blight, which is critical for humid regions.
• Standard Size: With a weight of 60–80 grams, these fruits are the "canning standard." They are dense, do not crack during heat treatment, and look excellent in whole-fruit preserves.
• Marketability: The red fruits retain their quality for up to 20 days after harvest, making the variety convenient for supply chains and retail markets.

Features and Agrotechnics

The main strength of «Tyasminskyi» is its reliability. Unlike many foreign hybrids that demand "intensive nutrition," this variety shows high adaptability to different soil types. However, it is important to note that the compact fruit size implies high planting density, which requires attention to pruning and bush formation to ensure proper ventilation. A minor drawback is its limited storage life compared to late-season winter tomatoes, so the harvest requires prompt sale or processing.

This tomato is optimal for farms focusing on canning facilities or early local market sales, where growers value uniform size and robust skin.
