Cucumber Alex F1 is an early parthenocarpic hybrid characterized by high productivity and excellent taste qualities. The ripening period ranges from 40 to 52 days depending on growing conditions. Plants form as single-stemmed without lateral shoots, with well-developed leaf surface and medium-length tendrils. 6 to 8 fruits form per node, contributing to high yield reaching 2.8–5.7 kg per square meter. Fruit marketability is 94%, indicating high-quality harvest.

Fruits of cucumber Alex F1 have finely ribbed surface with white spines and slight downiness. They are smooth, even, dark green, do not yellow or become bitter. Average fruit length is 6–10 cm, diameter — 3–4 cm, weight — 70–90 g. Due to its taste qualities, this variety is excellent for salads, pickling, and canning. Plants are resistant to drought (both air and soil) as well as to diseases such as olive spot, powdery mildew, and cucumber mosaic virus.

Alex F1 is recommended for cultivation both in open ground and under temporary film cover. For successful cultivation, a fertile, loose, and moist soil is required. Sowing for seedlings is usually done in April, and transplanting into open ground — in May–June.
