Tomato Ultimo F1

Reliable Yields with Ultimo F1

For a grower, the reliability of a hybrid is the cornerstone of a predictable season. When choosing Bejo, you expect high germination rates and robust plant health. Ultimo F1 has proven to be a workhorse in the field; being an indeterminate type, it requires proper pruning and staking, but the yield-to-effort ratio is exceptional. With a 90–100 day maturation period, planning your harvests becomes a precise and manageable process.

Resistance and Maintenance

The standout feature is the hybrid's genetic resistance. Verticillium, Fusarium, Cladosporium, and Tobacco Mosaic Virus—the primary headaches for greenhouse operations—are mitigated effectively. This natural resistance significantly lowers the need for chemical interventions, reducing operational costs and ensuring a cleaner end-product. The plant is consistent, forgiving, and responds well to standard feeding regimes.

Marketability and Transport

The 100–150 gram flat-round fruits are the perfect size for retail shelves. What matters most for any business moving produce is shelf-life and durability. Ultimo F1 fruits are firm and handle transportation exceptionally well, meaning less waste during logistics and arrival in premium condition. With a vibrant red color and uniform shape, these tomatoes meet the high standards of wholesalers and supermarket chains right off the vine.
