Tomato Tropicanka is a medium-early semi-determinate variety with plants reaching up to 1.5 meters in height. Fruit set begins on day 105-115 after germination. The first flower cluster forms above the 9th leaf, and subsequent clusters form every 2-3 leaves. Plants have short internodes and semi-compact inflorescences, each bearing 5-7 large, vibrant orange fruits. Fruit weight ranges from 150 to 200 grams, with individual fruits reaching up to 400 grams. The flesh is juicy, multi-chambered, with high dry matter and sugar content, giving the fruits a sweet and very pleasant taste. Variety Tropicanka is recommended for dietary use and is widely used for making salads, pasta, and sauces. Tomatoes have good storability and can ripen well after harvest. Plants are resistant to major tomato diseases and show high tolerance to low light and heat, allowing successful cultivation in various climatic conditions. However, the variety does not tolerate excessive soil moisture, requiring careful watering. For optimal growth, plants should be pruned to 2-3 stems with mandatory support. Planting density is 3-4 plants per square meter. Yield in open ground reaches 15-16 kg per square meter, while in protected ground it exceeds 20 kg per square meter.
