Tomato MELANET

Melanet F1 — an early hybrid of semi-determinate tomato developed by Syngenta. The plant is robust, open-type, with a well-developed root system, ensuring resistance to stress and stable fruiting. Melanet forms 7-9 clusters with 6 fruits each, maintaining high yield of about 7-8 kg per plant. The hybrid is adaptable to various agronomic practices and climatic conditions, growing well both in heated and unheated greenhouses, as well as in open ground, and is resistant to temperature fluctuations and insufficient light. The fruits of tomato Melanet are large, weighing 160-180 grams, with a rounded-oval shape, distinctive bright red color, and prominent shoulder. They exhibit excellent density and uniformity in size and shape, ensuring high transportability and long storage without loss of flavor. The taste of the fruits is pleasant, with a slight sweet-tart note, making them suitable for fresh consumption and home cooking. The hybrid has high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including cladosporiosis, fusarium, verticillium, tomato mosaic virus, and other common diseases. Thanks to this, Melanet F1 is a reliable choice for spring-summer cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality yield even under adverse conditions.
