AMANA ORANGE

Tomato Amana Orange is a medium-early indeterminate variety characterized by high yield and attractive fruit appearance. Plants reach a height of 1.5 to 1.8 meters, requiring staking and regular pinching to maintain plant health and maximize yield. The first flower cluster forms above the ninth leaf, with subsequent clusters appearing every three leaves, promoting even fruiting. The variety is well-suited for greenhouse cultivation and resistant to the main tomato diseases, including phytophthora. The fruits of tomato Amana Orange have a bright orange color and a flat-round shape with pronounced ribs. Their weight ranges from 200 to 600 grams, and in some cases can reach 1.5 kilograms. The flesh is succulent, with a tender and sweet flavor, slightly tart and fruity, making this variety especially appealing for fresh salads and slicing. The fruits have almost no seed chambers or seeds, improving their culinary qualities. Tomatoes are not prone to cracking and have good storability, extending their shelf life. To maintain high yield, additional feeding and planting density of 3-4 plants per square meter are recommended. Yield reaches 16-18 kg per square meter, making it one of the best among orange-fleshed tomatoes.
