ELANSKY

Tomato Elansky is an early-maturing variety developed by the Selection Department of the Institute of General Genetics named after N.I. Vavilov, intended for cultivation in open fields throughout Russia. The plant is determinate, semi-erect, medium-branched, and medium-leafy, reaching a height of 67-75 cm. Leaves are light green, medium-sized with a standard shape and moderate lobing. Flowers are simple, the first forming above the eighth leaf, subsequent ones appearing every other leaf. Successful cultivation requires staking to stakes and regular pinching.

Fruits of tomato Elansky are large, round, bright red, weighing 103-118 grams. They have a sweet taste and high vitamin content, making them an excellent choice for fresh consumption. The flavor is characterized by high dry matter content (6.2-6.5%), sugars (4.6-4.7%), and moderate acidity (0.40-0.42%). The peduncle has a joint, and the number of locules exceeds four, contributing to good fleshiness and juiciness of the fruits.

The variety is distinguished by high yield — marketable fruits reach 465-519 centners per hectare with a marketable product output of up to 95%. Elansky tomato is suitable for cultivation both in open fields and greenhouses, ensuring its versatility. Due to its early maturity (around 99-100 days after germination) and large fruit size, this variety is popular among gardeners, household plots, and small farmers.
