ORANGE SUN

The tomato variety "Orange Sun" is a large-fruited mid- to early-maturing variety with a variety of fruit shapes and sizes. Plants can be indeterminate, reaching up to 2 meters in height in greenhouses, or determinate, with plant height ranging from 50 to 120 cm depending on growing conditions. Plants require pruning to 2-3 stems with mandatory suckering and staking, which promotes good growth and high yield.

Tomato fruits are characterized by their bright, saturated orange color and diverse shapes — from cube-shaped to round and slightly ribbed. Fruit weight ranges from 110-140 g to 300-400 g, with the first trusses usually producing larger fruits. The flesh is juicy, succulent, and very tasty, with a pleasant sweet-tart or sweet flavor. Due to the dense structure of the fruits, this variety is excellent for both fresh consumption in salads and technical processing, especially for juice production, which turns out especially delicious.

The variety has high yield — up to 6-8 kg of fruit per plant per season, and up to 6-8 kg per square meter. Tomatoes store well and are resistant to damage during transport, making them attractive for market sales. "Orange Sun" is suitable for cultivation both in open ground with staking to stakes and under plastic coverings. Sowing should be done in late March to early April as seedlings, followed by transplanting into the ground in late May to early June.
