Description BUTTERBREAD
Butterbread is an early-maturing leaf lettuce variety, distinguished by its light green, tender, and crunchy leaves. Thanks to its high content of vitamins and mineral salts, this lettuce is not only tasty but also a healthy product. The head mass ranges from 130 to 180 grams, which makes it convenient for use fresh, as well as for making sandwiches, salads, and garnishing dishes.

This lettuce variety is recommended for growing both in open ground and protected ground. Sowing is carried out at the end of April to a depth of 1-2 cm. After the appearance of 2-3 true leaves, seedlings are thinned out, leaving a distance of 8-10 cm between plants. To obtain greens in a continuous mode, sowings are repeated at two-week intervals until mid-August.

To ensure prolonged and abundant growth, plants require timely watering, regular weeding, soil loosening, and feeding with mineral fertilizers. Thanks to these agrotechnical measures, the Butterbread lettuce will delight with fresh and healthy greens throughout the season.
