Pepper-shaped Red tomato — a medium-early Siberian selection variety, characterized by high yield and resilience. The plant can be either indeterminate, reaching up to 1.5–1.8 meters in height, or a more compact bush-type variety 30–40 cm tall, requiring no pinching or staking. The vegetation period lasts about 100–110 days, enabling a relatively quick harvest. The variety is resistant to many fungal and infectious diseases and is adapted to harsh weather conditions, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. The tomato fruits have a distinctive pepper-like shape and a deep red color. The weight of each fruit varies from 100 to 150 grams. They are firm with a pleasant sweet taste, which is retained during canning and freezing. Due to their flavor and shape, these tomatoes are ideal for stuffing, whole-fruit canning, and processing. Yield reaches up to 7 kg per plant or about 4 kg per square meter, making it profitable for both home and commercial cultivation. Cultivating Pepper-shaped Red tomato requires standard care: regular watering, soil loosening, fertilization, and shaping or staking as needed. Seedlings should be planted on a prepared sunny spot after the end of spring frosts, when air temperature stabilizes at +10°C. The variety has good fruit storability, with fruits able to be stored for up to two months, ensuring convenience in use and sale of the harvest.
