Tomato ORANGE CUBE

Tomato Orange Cube F1 is an early determinate hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The period from germination to the start of fruiting is 95-100 days. The plant forms simple inflorescences, each bearing 5 to 7 fruits. Tomatoes have a round-cube shape with a characteristic small "nose" on 20-30% of fruits, a rich orange color, and a weight of 90-100 grams. A distinctive feature is the absence of a green spot at the fruit stem. This hybrid has high flavor qualities: β-carotene content reaches 3.5-3.8 mg%, vitamin C — 26-28 mg%, sugars — 4-4.3%, dry matter — 6-6.5%. The tomato is heat- and drought-resistant, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions. High marketability and transportability allow the fruits to be used for fresh consumption, as well as for whole-fruit canning and tomato product production. Additionally, Orange Cube F1 exhibits resistance to several diseases, including tomato mosaic virus (ToMV), verticillium wilt (Va, Vd), fusarium (Fol 1-2), and alternaria (Asc). The recommended planting scheme is 70x30 cm. The yield of the hybrid in open ground reaches 10-12 kg per square meter, and in greenhouses — over 15 kg per square meter, confirming its high productivity and economic attractiveness.
