Tomato MONK

Tomato 'Monk' is a determinate, low-growing variety, ideally suited for cultivation in the Urals and Siberia. Compact bushes reach a height of 45-50 cm, do not require pinching or staking, simplifying plant care. Leaves are medium-sized, dark green, and inflorescences are simple. The variety is highly resistant to cold, heat, and drought, making it versatile and low-maintenance for various climatic conditions.

The fruits of tomato 'Monk' have a slightly ribbed, round shape and bright red color. The weight of each fruit ranges from 80 to 140 grams, with dense flesh and slight granularity when fully ripe. The taste is classic tomato flavor — moderately sweet with a slight acidity and rich aroma. Fruits are not prone to cracking, ensuring their attractive appearance and ease of storage. Due to their taste qualities, these tomatoes are suitable for fresh consumption, canning, and processing into tomato products.

The 'Monk' variety is classified as ultra-early to mid-early maturing, allowing harvest within 100-112 days after germination. High yield — over 8 kg per square meter with proper agronomic practices. Compact bushes with abundant clusters produce fruit over an extended period, ensuring a steady harvest throughout the season. This variety is an excellent choice for open ground and plastic coverings, combining low maintenance, high productivity, and outstanding taste.
