The Madlena tomato is a medium-early determinate variety intended for cultivation in open ground. The plant reaches a height of 70 cm to 1 meter, has dark green medium-sized leaves and a simple inflorescence. The fruit stem lacks a joint, which contributes to the fruit's strength and ease of harvesting.

The Madlena tomato fruits are round, smooth, and firm, with color changing from green in the immature state to a deep red when ripe. The weight of one fruit varies between 80-140 grams, most often ranging from 92 to 110 grams. The tomatoes have a meaty texture and a pronounced sweet flavor, making them ideal for salads. The number of locules in the fruits ranges from 4 to 6.

The variety is characterized by high yield — marketable fruits are harvested at a rate of 318-336 centners per hectare, with a marketable product output of 70-84%. Madlena exhibits resistance to many diseases, and the ability to quickly recover from extreme weather conditions such as sharp temperature fluctuations and water deficiency.
