Tomato CHERRY BLUESM F1

Reliable Cherry Tomatoes: Grower's Insight on Sakata’s Hybrid

Finding a cherry tomato variety that balances premium flavor with robust field performance is a challenge.

Operational Performance

From an operational standpoint, this determinate hybrid is a low-maintenance powerhouse. The growth habit significantly reduces the time spent on pruning and trellis management. This resilience is a major cost-saver, as it reduces the need for heavy fungicide applications throughout the season.

Harvest and Market Quality

The fruits reach up to 20 grams, maintaining a uniform round shape and a vibrant red hue. They don't crack easily during harvest, which simplifies logistics and reduces waste during transport to retail partners. With a planting density of 25,000 to 30,000 plants per hectare, the canopy stays well-ventilated, which effectively minimizes the risk of Cladosporium outbreaks.

• Plant type: Determinate.
• Potential yield: 70–100 tons/ha.
• Resistance: Full spectrum protection against major tomato pathogens.

Using Sakata seeds is a strategic choice for consistent performance.
