ERMITAJ

The ERMITAJ tomato variety is a fast-maturing determinate type that ripens within 95-100 days after germination. The plant is medium-height, reaching 90-100 cm, and requires staking and pinching to form 3-4 stems. This variety is undemanding and suitable for cultivation both in open ground and under plastic coverings, making it versatile for various climatic conditions, including Northern, Northwestern, and Central regions. The ERMITAJ tomato fruits are round, slightly flattened, and red when ripe. Average fruit weight is 100-120 grams. They are juicy and have a good flavor typical of early varieties. Due to their qualities, these tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, such as in salads, as well as for processing. Yield reaches 7 kg per square meter, which is a good indicator for early tomato varieties. For successful cultivation of the ERMITAJ variety, bright conditions with at least 11-12 hours of daily light are recommended. Optimal soil is light loam or sandy loam mix. During the first three weeks after planting, watering should be done 1-2 times per week, then increased to 3-4 times per week. This variety can also be grown on a windowsill with pot rotation, expanding its cultivation possibilities indoors.
