Description Lyana
Tomato Liana is an early determinate variety with a low-growing, moderately branched plant reaching 35-50 cm in height, making it suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses. The plant is low-maintenance and highly productive, yielding up to 8 kg per plant under optimal conditions. To obtain an earlier harvest, it is recommended to train the plant into 1-3 stems and provide support if necessary, as the plant may require support when bearing a large number of fruits. Pinching is not mandatory but can promote better fruit development.

The fruits of tomato Liana are round, bright red, with a firm skin, weighing 70-85 grams. The flesh is juicy with a classic tomato flavor, containing approximately 4% sugars and up to 6% dry matter, ensuring excellent taste qualities. Tomatoes are suitable for universal use: fresh consumption, sauce, pasta, lecho preparation, as well as for whole-fruit canning and pickling. The fruits have good transportability and can be stored for up to three months without losing their firmness or market appearance.

The Liana variety exhibits high resistance to bacterial spot, macrosporiosis, and blossom end rot, as well as moderate resistance to late blight. However, the plant is susceptible to mosaic virus. For successful cultivation, select sunny locations with light, organically rich soil, avoiding shaded areas. Care includes standard agronomic practices: regular watering, loosening, weed control, pest management, and fertilization up to three times during the ripening period. The variety is well-adapted to various climatic conditions, including Central, Eastern Siberian, Ural, and other regions of Russia.
