Marissa F1

Tomato Marissa F1 is an indeterminate hybrid with early maturity, developed in the Netherlands. The plant is characterized by high productivity and is suitable for cultivation under various conditions: in heated glass greenhouses for extended cultivation, in plastic greenhouses for short second crops, as well as in vertical cultivation in open ground. Successful cultivation requires pinching and tying to vertical supports. The tomato prefers warmth, light, and moderate soil moisture, tolerates secondary salinity and high soil acidity.

The fruits of tomato Marissa F1 have round or round-oval shape, dense structure, and weight ranging from 150 to 170 grams. They exhibit high transportability and can maintain their quality in ripe condition for up to two weeks without loss of flavor or appearance. This variety is primarily intended for fresh consumption.

A distinctive feature of tomato Marissa F1 is its high resistance to a range of diseases, including tobacco mosaic virus, Cladosporium (races 1-5), stem alternaria, verticillium and fusarium wilt (races 1 and 2), tracheomycosis, and root rot. The weight of 1000 seeds ranges from 2 to 3 grams, with 300 to 330 seeds per gram.
