Tomato KNIYCHICH F1

Professional production strategies with «Knyazhych F1»

For growers specializing in cherry tomatoes, this hybrid developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of NAAS offers a predictable and profitable solution for greenhouse environments. As an indeterminate variety, it allows for efficient vertical space management, reaching maturity within 90–100 days.

Disease resistance as a cost-saver

Managing disease pressure is a major operational challenge. Knyazhych F1 simplifies this task with built-in genetic resistance to Tobacco Mosaic Virus, Fusarium wilt, and Cladosporium. This feature allows producers to reduce the frequency of fungicide applications, which is essential for maintaining compliance with food safety standards and reducing input costs.

Marketability and Logistics

With an individual fruit weight of 40–60 grams, these tomatoes are perfectly suited for consumer packaging. The unique brown color and round shape provide a competitive edge in the retail segment. Crucially, the hybrid excels in transportation: the fruits maintain structural integrity and freshness even after long-distance shipping, significantly lowering post-harvest losses at the retail level.

• Yield potential: A robust yield of 70–100 tons per hectare ensures strong financial performance in intensive growing systems.
• Proven adaptation: Developed locally, this hybrid is well-suited to the regional climate, minimizing performance risks often associated with imported seeds.
