Tomato Tsvietik F1

Consistent Field Yields

The «Tsvetik F1» tomato is a product of the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of NAAS, specifically developed for farmers seeking predictable results in open-field cultivation. Its determinate growth habit simplifies maintenance, allowing for efficient management without complex trellising systems, which effectively reduces production costs.

Crop Management and Defense

The key value of this hybrid lies in its comprehensive resistance to pathogens that frequently compromise tomato harvests in the region:

• Biological protection: High resistance to Fusarium wilt and Verticillium wilt.
• Viral defense: The plant effectively combats Tobacco Mosaic Virus and other common viral mosaics.
• Soil resilience: The breeding program addressed nematode threats, allowing cultivation on land with historical infection pressures.

Market Performance

With an early maturation period of up to 90 days, growers can hit the market before peak season price drops. The dense, plum-shaped fruits, weighing over 200 grams, are ideal for both fresh market sales and processing. Due to their high flesh density, these tomatoes withstand long-distance transportation exceptionally well, maintaining their marketability without cracking—a critical factor for wholesale supply chains.
