Tomato AL-2 F1

Proven Genetics from Ukrainian Research

The 'Alla-2 F1' tomato is a staple of professional vegetable growing, developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine. Built to withstand local environmental challenges, this hybrid has become a trusted choice for commercial growers who prioritize operational reliability and consistent yields over experimental novelties.

Agronomic Performance

As an indeterminate variety, 'Alla-2 F1' requires precise plant management, yet rewards the producer with a steady harvest cycle. With a maturity period of 111–124 days, it fits perfectly into the mid-late season segment. Key technical advantages include:

• Disease Resistance: The hybrid features inherent resistance to Tomato Mosaic Virus, Fusarium, and Cladosporiosis, reducing the need for intensive fungicide usage.
• Fruit Specifications: Averaging 148 grams, the flat-round, bright red fruits are ideal for both the fresh market and culinary processing.
• Economic Viability: A dry matter content of 5.7 % ensures firm texture and excellent shelf life, which is critical for long-distance transport.

With an impressive yield potential of 22.2–25 kg/m², 'Alla-2 F1' provides the robust genetic foundation required for stable profitability. It remains a cornerstone of domestic professional seed selection, consistently proving its value in diverse growing conditions.
