Description FIG RED
Tomato variety Fig Red is a medium-ripening, high-yielding variety with original pear-shaped fruits, ribbed at the base. The fruits are large, weighing from 200 to 350 grams, with a rich ruby color and multi-chambered structure. The flesh is juicy, tender, and sweet, with a distinct tomato flavor, making them an excellent choice for fresh summer salads, colorful slices, and home canning.

The plant is indeterminate, medium-height, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and greenhouses. For successful growth and fruit formation, staking to supports or stakes is required. It is recommended to train the plant into a single stem, transferring the growth point to a lateral shoot (sucker). Sowing seedlings is done at the end of March to early April, transplanting in the first true leaf stage, and planting seedlings in greenhouses at the beginning of May or late April, depending on warm weather. The optimal planting scheme is 40x60 cm.

The variety exhibits comprehensive resistance to tomato diseases, contributing to a stable yield. Thanks to its taste qualities and versatility, Fig Red tomato will be a great addition to your garden, providing delicious and aromatic fruits for various culinary purposes.
