CHALMA

Chalma tomato variety is medium-ripening, with a period from germination to technical maturity of about 115-120 days. Plants are tall, reaching heights of 150 to 200 cm, allowing them to be grown both in open ground and under plastic coverings. The plant is indeterminate, forms clusters of fruits, and is resistant to adverse weather conditions and a number of diseases, making it low-maintenance.

The fruits of the Chalma tomato are bright red in color and have a characteristic pear shape with vertical ribbing, which covers about two-thirds of the fruit. Fruit weight varies from 110 to 250 grams, with flesh that is juicy and meaty, containing a small number of seeds and possessing a pleasant fruity aroma. This fruit structure makes the variety attractive for fresh consumption and culinary use.

The Chalma variety does not contain GMOs and is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions due to its resistance and low-maintenance nature.
