Siberian Trio — is a high-yielding medium-maturing tomato variety with an indeterminate growth habit. Plants are strong, reaching heights of 1.5 to 1.8 meters, requiring pruning to one or two stems for optimal growth. Bushes are compact and sturdy, making care and harvest easier. The variety is disease-resistant, enhancing cultivation reliability and fruit quality.
The fruits of the Siberian Trio tomato are bright red, elongated pepper-shaped, weighing 120 to 300 grams. They are dense, meaty, with a smooth glossy skin, possessing a sweet, aromatic, and rich flavor appreciated both fresh and during processing. Due to their taste qualities, the fruits do not require additional salting and are ideal for canning and preparing tomato products.
This variety can be grown both as seedlings and directly in open ground. Seeds for seedlings are sown in early March, and transplanting to the final location is carried out in the second decade of May, following a 70x70 cm scheme. It is recommended to choose sunny, sheltered from cold winds areas with loamy soils enriched with organic fertilizers. For early and high yields, coverings can be temporarily used until warm weather stabilizes. Best predecessors for this variety are legumes, cucurbits, and root vegetables, while planting after potatoes, peppers, eggplants, and physalis is not recommended.
