Cascade

Tomato Cascade is a medium-ripening variety with high yield, suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in greenhouses. The plant is vigorous, with plant height ranging from 60 to 100 cm depending on growing conditions and pruning methods. In open ground, stem length usually does not exceed 150 cm, while in greenhouses it can reach 175-180 cm. Cascade belongs to both determinate and indeterminate varieties, allowing for stem length adjustment and stable yield under various climatic conditions.

The fruits of tomato Cascade have a cylindrical elongated shape, 10-14 cm long and weighing 80-120 g. They are bright red with a firm skin, ensuring good transportability and resistance to cracking. The fruits are low-seeded, without green spot at the calyx, improving their appearance and quality. The number of locules is 3-4, and the taste of the fruits is rated as good to excellent. The flowers are small, yellow, self-pollinating, and have high fruit set even under temperature fluctuations.

The Cascade variety is characterized by high disease resistance and ability to form fruiting clusters under extreme conditions, including poor soils. Yield per plant under greenhouse cultivation reaches 8-10 kg, and per 1 m² — 25-30 kg. In open ground, yield per plant is about 4.5-5 kg, and up to 18 kg per 1 m². Extended fruiting period and versatile fruit use make this variety attractive for gardeners and farmers who value consistent and high-quality yield.
