Tomato Feya

Stability and predictability in the greenhouse

Working with the 'Feya' variety from 'Tomagros', one realizes that this tomato was created for those who value predictable results and high fruit quality. As an indeterminate type, the plant requires proper training and timely trellising. Under intensive cultivation, this variety shows excellent performance without creating unnecessary issues if standard agrotechnical practices are followed.

Fruit characteristics and cultivation

Fruits weighing 150–200 grams are the perfect 'middle ground' for the fresh market. They fit perfectly into crates, withstand transport well, and look appealing to the consumer. An interesting feature is the color variability: on the same trusses or within the same planting, you can find both classic red and vibrant yellow tomatoes. This significantly expands sales opportunities — this 'palette' always attracts buyer attention.

• Crop type: tomato, indeterminate (requires trellis support).
• Fruit weight: stable 150–200 grams.
• Color range: original combination of red and yellow fruits.
• Breeding: result of professional work by the V.I. Edelstein Vegetable Research Station and 'Tomagros' specialists.

From an agronomic point of view, 'Feya' is not demanding in terms of nutrition. With a balanced irrigation and feeding schedule, the plant actively sets trusses, filling fruits evenly along the entire height of the stem. In terms of maintenance, the variety is straightforward: its indeterminate growth allows for rational use of greenhouse space, directing the plant's energy strictly into fruit formation rather than excessive vegetative growth.
