Tomato BABUSHKIN SECRET

The tomato 'Babushkin Secret' is a medium-early indeterminate variety, distinguished by its large fruit size and excellent taste. Plants grow to a height of 150-200 cm and require mandatory bush formation and tying of each stem. The ripening period is approximately 110-125 days, allowing for an early harvest. Plants typically form one or two stems, and for obtaining especially large fruits weighing up to 1 kg, timely suckering is necessary.

The tomato fruits have a flat-round shape with a ribbed surface and a pink-purple color. They are juicy, meaty, and slightly sweet in taste. The average weight of one tomato is about 400 g, although fruits on lower clusters may reach 800-1000 g. The fruit skin is smooth, dense, and thin, with few seeds located in 6-8 small chambers. Thanks to these characteristics, tomatoes are ideal for fresh consumption, salad preparation, as well as for processing and winter preservation, including tomato juice with a rich flavor.

The variety is characterized by high yield and resistance to common diseases such as tobacco mosaic, phytophthora, and powdery mildew. Yield in plastic-covered structures can reach approximately 12-17 kg per square meter, making this variety attractive for cultivation in various regions. Due to its low maintenance requirements and excellent taste, tomato 'Babushkin Secret' is an excellent choice for both hobbyist and professional cultivation.
