Tomato BRUT

Maximizing Yields with Heavy-Weight Tomatoes

The «Brut» tomato, developed by the Russian Research Institute of Vegetable Breeding and Seed Production (VNIISSOK), is a professional-grade hybrid designed for greenhouses. As an indeterminate variety, it requires dedicated trellis support and precise management to unlock its full productivity. It is a top choice for commercial operations focusing on high-density production and consistent produce size.

Practical Implementation Strategies

• Controlled Greenhouse Environments: With a maturation period of 100-120 days, «Brut» allows for precise harvest scheduling. The plant excels under drip irrigation and fertigation systems, which are essential for supporting its large fruit mass (200+ grams).
• Commercial Scalability: The fruits feature a flattened-round shape with a robust internal structure of 4-6 chambers. This density ensures high shelf life and excellent transportability, reducing losses during distribution to supermarket chains.

The main advantage of «Brut» is its reliability. It is engineered to perform under intense cultivation, delivering yields exceeding 190 tons. For agricultural managers, this means a predictable harvest of high-quality, uniform tomatoes that require minimal sorting. If your goal is a commercial-grade yield that meets strict market standards for size and durability, «Brut» is an essential addition to your planting rotation.
