Jina tomato is a medium-ripening determinate variety that matures within 110-125 days after seed germination. The plants of this variety are medium-branched, reaching a height of 30 to 60 centimeters, and do not require pinching, although it is recommended to support the plants with stakes to prevent damage from the weight of the fruits. Jina is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses and covers, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions. The fruits of Jina tomato have a flat-round shape with slight ribbing, colored in bright red or orange-red. They are dense, juicy, and succulent, with excellent texture and outstanding taste qualities. Fruit weight varies from 190 to 280 grams, with individual fruits reaching up to 300 grams. 3 to 6 fruits form per cluster, and with proper agronomic practices, up to 2.5 kilograms of high-quality tomatoes can be harvested per plant. The Jina variety is characterized by high yield, reaching up to 10 kg per square meter, and resistance to major solanaceous diseases such as verticillium and fusarium wilt. These qualities make it a reliable and profitable crop to grow. Tomatoes of this variety are versatile in use: they are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for processing into tomato paste, ketchup, and canning.
