ALTAY ORANGE

Altay Orange tomato is a medium-early, tall variety intended for cultivation in open ground and plastic greenhouses. The period from germination to the start of fruit ripening is 110-115 days. Plants reach a height of up to 2 meters, requiring staking and pruning. Flowers are simple, usually with 4-5 blooms, the first truss forms on the 9th-10th leaf, subsequent ones every 3 leaves.

Tomato fruits are flat-round, slightly ribbed, fleshy, and multi-chambered. The weight of one fruit varies from 250-350 g to 400-600 g, sometimes reaching 500 g. In the technical ripening phase, fruits have green coloration with a dark green spot near the stem, while at biological ripeness, they turn bright orange. Tomatoes are characterized by high sugar content (more than 4%) and contain up to 4.2 mg of beta-carotene, making them especially beneficial.

This tomato variety is valued for its excellent taste and versatility. It is ideal for fresh consumption, juice production, and is recommended for children's and dietary nutrition due to its sweetness and nutritional properties.
