Tomato Ajur is a medium-early hybrid determinate variety with plant height of about 70-80 cm. Compact bushes with a strong stem and large green leaves divided into lobes with prominent veins. The plant forms simple inflorescences on a thick peduncle with a joint, usually forming up to 5 clusters simultaneously, each containing 4 to 6 large fruits. This variety is suitable for cultivation both in open ground and in plastic greenhouses, making it a versatile choice for various climatic conditions. Tomato Ajur fruits have a flat-round shape and weigh between 220 to 400 grams. In the technical ripening stage, they are light green, and upon full ripening, they acquire a rich red-purple hue. Beneath the dense glossy skin lies a juicy, succulent, and sweet flesh with high and balanced sugar, organic acid, and vitamin content. The skin is tough, ensuring good transportability and storage capacity of fruits for up to 2-3 months under cold conditions. The variety exhibits high resistance to a wide range of diseases, including phytophthora, verticillium, cladosporiasis, blossom end rot, fruit cracking, fungal infections, and tobacco mosaic virus. Additionally, Tomato Ajur tolerates hot periods and extreme weather conditions well. Yield per plant is 10-12 kg, with ripening period within 105-110 days, allowing harvest in July-August. For successful cultivation, pinching, staking, and plant formation according to a 60 cm row spacing scheme are recommended.
