Tomato Lejebok is a determinate hybrid primarily intended for cultivation in greenhouse conditions, including plastic and glass-covered greenhouses. Plants are medium-height, reaching approximately 1.3-1.5 meters. It is recommended to train the plant into a single stem, transferring the growth point to a side shoot, which promotes better fruit development. Sowing for seedlings is conducted at the end of March to early April, and transplanting into greenhouses occurs when plants are about 40 days old, typically in early to mid-May; earlier transplanting is possible under warm weather conditions. Tomato Lejebok fruits have a flat-round shape and a rich red color. The average weight of one fruit ranges from 140 to 180 grams. They possess a dense structure and a balanced sweet-sour taste, making them an excellent choice for fresh salads and whole-fruit canning. A distinctive feature of this variety is the high fruit storability: fruits maintain freshness for an extended period, up to several months, allowing their use during winter and ensuring good transportability. The hybrid exhibits resistance to several diseases, including cladosporiosis, tobacco mosaic virus, and fusarium wilt, enhancing harvest reliability. The maturation period is medium-early — from 107 to 115 days from germination to fruiting. The yield is high, reaching 8-9 kg per square meter, making Lejebok profitable for cultivation in various regions. Thanks to its characteristics, tomato Lejebok is suitable for both greenhouse and open-field cultivation, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
