AMURSKY TIGER PINK

The tomato variety Amur Tiger Pink is a medium-early, tall indeterminate variety, suitable for cultivation in both greenhouse and open ground. The vegetation period from germination to fruiting is approximately 108-115 days. Plants reach a height of 150 to 200 cm, requiring staking and proper care. For successful cultivation, it is recommended to use seedling method, planting 50-60-day-old seedlings after the threat of spring frosts. Tomato fruits have a flat-round or slightly ribbed shape with characteristic striped coloring, which changes during ripening: from green with light or dark green stripes in technical ripeness to red or brownish-red with yellow stripes in biological ripeness. Fruit weight varies from 80 to 200 g, with individual specimens reaching up to 400 g. The flesh is juicy, tender, with thin skin and pleasant sweet taste without noticeable acidity. The flesh color is deep burgundy, adding additional attractiveness to the fruits. Amur Tiger Pink tomatoes are excellent for fresh consumption, salad preparation, and juice making, as well as for whole-fruit canning. During canning, the exotic striped fruit coloring is fully preserved, making the preserves especially attractive. However, the fruits do not tolerate heat treatment well during pickling, but they are ideal for barrel-style pickling. Multiple fruits ripen simultaneously on the cluster, ensuring high fruit set and stable yield.
