Shakherezada

The Shaherazada tomato variety is a medium-maturing semi-determinate bush with a spreading form and height up to 1.5 meters in a greenhouse, slightly lower in open ground. The plant's leaves are emerald green with a bluish-gray sheen and covered with down, giving them a velvety texture and an unusual blue-green hue. The bush forms numerous flower clusters, but usually no more than three fruits form on each cluster.

The fruits of the Shaherazada tomato have an oval or nearly round shape, weighing from 100 to 200 grams, and under proper bush formation, can reach up to 300 grams per stem. Their skin is dense and slightly hairy, resembling the texture and appearance of peach, with an orange-red tint. The flesh is thick, juicy, succulent, and aromatic, with a pleasant tomato flavor. Thanks to these qualities, the fruits are excellent for fresh consumption, as well as for processing and pickling.

The variety is characterized by medium yield, which is rather low, so it is more often grown as a decorative and exotic crop, valued for the beauty of its fruits and the unusual appearance of the bush. Tomatoes store well after harvest, retaining their shape and flavor for a long time, making them convenient for various culinary uses.
