Thyme YALOS

Professional thyme variety for high-yield cultivation

The 'Yalos' thyme variety, developed by the Nikita Botanical Gardens, is specifically valued by commercial growers for its consistent performance and reliable yields. With an output ranging from 0.8 to 1.0 kg of green mass per square meter, this cultivar provides a solid economic foundation for those focusing on the culinary herb market.

Practical application and agronomic benefits

When incorporating 'Yalos' into an agricultural production cycle, its key features translate directly into operational advantages:

• Marketability: The variety produces deep green foliage that maintains its visual appeal, essential for the fresh-cut herb segment.
• Versatility: Beyond its culinary use, the pink blossoms make it a viable candidate for both commercial herb production and aesthetic landscaping, particularly in specialized aromatic garden projects.
• Regrowth Efficiency: The plant exhibits strong vegetative recovery after harvesting, allowing for multiple cutting cycles per season under controlled irrigation and fertilization regimes.

Operational success with 'Yalos' relies on timing the harvest before the stems become overly woody. Its consistent aromatic profile makes it an excellent choice for drying, frozen seasoning mixes, or large-scale food manufacturing. For producers, 'Yalos' represents a dependable choice for scaling production while maintaining the specific quality standards required by culinary distributors and processors.
