Thyme SNAKE

Aromatic Accent for Your Garden: Thyme "Zmeyka"

If you are looking for a crop that combines decorative appeal, culinary value, and medicinal properties, the "Zmeyka" variety from the "Research and Production Firm Russian Seeds" (Nauchno-proizvodstvennaya Firma Rossiyskie Semena) is an excellent choice. Developed by breeder Z. S. Vinogradov, this variety is characterized by an exceptional aroma intensity, rated at a perfect 5 out of 5.

Key Variety Features

• Natural Resilience: Its semi-shrub growth habit ensures excellent winter hardiness and crop stability.
• Visual Aesthetics: The rich green foliage is harmoniously complemented by delicate pink-violet flowers, making the plant suitable for both vegetable patches and rock gardens.
• Concentrated Essential Oils: Due to the high concentration of essential oils, this variety is ideal for creating seasonings for meat and vegetable dishes.

Unlike many commercial hybrids, "Zmeyka" is a selection focused on preserving aromatic properties during the drying process. This makes it an essential component for both home apothecaries and culinary kits. The plant does not require complex care, though for maximum yield of green mass, it is recommended to plant it in well-lit areas with light, well-drained soil. It is perfect for both small-batch commercial cultivation and hobby gardening.
